What the notice asks Railways

  1. 1.The budget estimate, revised estimate, actual expenditure and total Union funds released since sanction.
  2. 2.When Railways received the revised-cost estimate, its present status and the reasons for delay in approval.
  3. 3.Whether Railways has concurred with the changed rolling-stock procurement mode and the details of that decision.

Follow-up

The high-density network question

The office will seek the proposed corridor map, selection criteria and Bengaluru's place in the high-density network. If a Bengaluru connection is excluded, the Government must state why.
