Indian National Congress·Rajya Sabha MP from Karnataka

Reach me

I will be upfront about what I can do and what I cannot, so nobody's time is wasted.

Mansoor Ali Khan among supporters on a Bengaluru street, hands raised in greeting.

What I can do

  • Raise Karnataka's and Bengaluru's issues in Parliament, with questions that put facts on the public record.
  • Write to Union ministries to create a paper trail and a next step.
  • Speak in debates and on urgent matters, and go deeper through committee work.
  • Connect a local problem to national accountability.
  • Share my research and positions openly, and follow up on what people write in.

What I cannot do, said plainly

  • A Rajya Sabha MP does not make law single-handedly. The role is to represent, question, review and pursue.
  • Instructing or overruling a state department or a city agency is outside the role.
  • Promise instant results on a complaint.
  • Decide court cases or election results. Those are not mine to settle.
