Vote Chori

Political claim - not a judicial finding

During the 2024 Bangalore Central Lok Sabha campaign, serious discrepancies in the constituency's voter rolls came to light, centred on the Mahadevapura assembly segment. The investigation into these findings, undertaken under the direction of the party leadership, helped make the scale of the problem legible to the national leadership.

Rahul Gandhi recognised the gravity of the findings, took them up at the national level, and made it the Vote Chori campaign - the Congress party's sustained challenge to electoral roll integrity across India. What began in Bangalore Central became a national issue.

Mansoor Ali Khan continues to pursue election integrity as an issue in Parliament. The Vote Chori campaign belongs to the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi's leadership. His role was local: to document the anomalies and place them in the hands of the national leadership.
